The sold-out concert, held in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s CMA Theater, continued a series of events inspired and informed by the ongoing special exhibition Dylan, Cash, and the Nashville Cats: A New Music City.

Jahnig was so impressed, he offered to engineer and produce a new album and proceeded to put a killer band together comprising some of Meade’s favourite musicians, including Cory Younts, Chance Mc Coy, Joshua Hedley, Chris Scruggs, and Morgan himself.
Guest spots were filled by Diana Jones, Shelly Colvin and Critter from Old Crow.
Secor also implied, while standing onstage in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, that Dylan’s influence on country music is not fully recognized.
“Bob Dylan belongs in the Country Music Hall of Fame,” Secor said.
Thursday, May 12, 2016 CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum The seven members of Old Crow Medicine Show paraded onstage like a dissolute yet determined marching band, complete with an upright bass drum pounded by mallets, as they woozily slid into Bob Dylan’s “Rainy Day Women #12 & 35.” The musical introduction—as original as it was unusual—set the tone for the creative way the popular stringband paid tribute to Bob Dylan’s landmark album Blonde on Blonde, released fifty years ago this month and recorded largely in Nashville with Music Row studio musicians.The summer was mainly spent on the road with Ocean Colour Scene again.NEW ALBUM 'WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME' is due for release on Button up records in may 2018.On the road it was another succesful and busy year, with the Sturgill Simpson show at Celtic Connections leading to yet another 5 date UK tour in support of the Grammy Winner in July.Other highlights of this year included 5 packed out shows at 'Kilkenny Rhythm and Roots Festival,' a very well receieved The Quay Sessions (BBC) appearance, and another greatly succesful solo tour with Diana Jones in April, this time over three weeks in the UK.In 2016 things continued to move on, with the release of album Let Me Off At The Bottom, his first studio album with The Flying Mules.
